They have been established environmental film festivals, each one of them having a different geographical and thematic focus. It is this variety that makes networking so fruitful and important.
ECOMOVE International facilitates the exchange of information as well as better cooperation among its member festivals. This in return makes each of them more efficient in promoting the environmental cause at home. ECOMOVE International is in the process of negotiating membership with more festivals.

EARTH VISION (Japan) Festival: March 04 - 06, 2011 EARTH VISION is the first international environmental film festival in the Asian region and started in 1992 when the Earth Summit took place. |

EKOFILM (Czech Republic) Festival: October 04 - 10, 2010 "EKOFILM - International Film Festival on the Environment and Natural and Cultural Heritage" is the oldest European film festival on the environment. It was founded in 1974 as a contribution to the World Environmental Day declared by the United Nations. |

ENVIROFILM (Slovakia) Festival: May 10 - 15, 2010 The objective of "ENVIROFILM - International Festival of Films, TV and video Programmes dealing with the Environment and Protection" is to present new films that broaden knowledge about nature and environmental protection by their contents and artistic level. |

GREEN VISION (Russia) Festival: November 23 - 27, 2009 "Green Vision" in St. Petersburg is organized by the Committee for Nature Use, Environmental Protection and Ecological Safety of the City Administration of St. Petersburg with the support of Western European partners. |

PUCHALSKI NATURE FILM FESTVAL (Poland) Festival: September 16 - 19, 2009 The Puchalski Nature Flm Festival is organised by the Studio of Educational Films and Programmes in Lodz. |
