Filmambiente - Int. Environmental Film Festival Rio de Janeiro
Since 2011 Filmambiente takes place in Rio de Janeiro, to present the best of the recent international audiovisual productions on environment and sustainability. The Mission: to increase awareness on environmental issues and to provoke debate; to widen knowledge, allowing a better understanding of these matters to help people reach its own conclusion. The festival presents a variety of films - fictions, documentary and animation, feature and shorts – followed by a Q&A section between the audience and the representatives of the films. The films are selected by a curator and an international jury awards the best feature and short in competition and the audience selects the best film of the event.
